For example, you could write about the superiority of the electric motor over the gasoline engine, which in reality is not a fact.o Political Arguments. Write about an issue that you feel strongly about, and try to support your point of view with facts. Arguments can be made for either side, but in order to be successful in your argument, you will need to show how your side is better than the other side.o The Environment. You should always try to focus on the positive aspects of our society, the community, or the family life. Many different opinions exist on this topic, so you will need to have a solid foundation in order to support your position.o Your Argument. Think of a list of questions to ask yourself before you start writing. Do not forget to consider your audience, and you should be able to write a convincing argument, based on the information you have gathered.Any persuasive essay is nothing without research. However, the research that you do needs to be balanced, so you should not lean too heavily on just one side of the spectrum. It is best to provide balance for your readers by pointing out both sides of the argument, and leaving them enough room to make up their own minds.
